Earthquake in Kathmandu, Nepal on 21 February 2018


A strong tremor was felt in Kathmandu around 2:23 AM on 21 February 2018. This earthquake in Nepal is confirmed by the seismic signal.

The National Seismological Centre (NSC), Department of Mines and Geology recorded a 3.6 magnitudes aftershock. The epicentre of the aftershock was Dallu Housing in Kathmandu said Lok Bijaya Adhikari, Chief of the NSC.

    1. It may happen again but no one can guarantee it. As per EMSC it was 4.6 and as per NSC it was 3.6 .
